The engine is deterministic. Run it twice and you get the same number twice — and when a figure changes, something you changed is the reason. Nothing drifts quietly between runs.
Animal energy, not rules of thumb
Feed demand is built from each class's actual requirement — liveweight, growth rate, pregnancy, lactation — rather than a regional average applied to a headcount. It responds to your mob because it is calculated from your mob.

farmBI is being built from the farm end of the problem. Erin has spent more than twenty years across commercial farming, livestock supply, farm systems and farmer communication — most recently leading the livestock business of a large-scale North Island finishing operation, covering commercial planning across the farming platform and procurement and supply relationships at scale.
Earlier roles span large-scale corporate farming, industry-good extension, rural media, and the work of translating farm operations into finance and data systems.
farmBI brings those threads together: farming decisions, commercial consequences, and the numbers needed to connect them.
